This has been a weird, crazy week.  I am all over the place with my emotions and for once, it's justified.

There is nothing else to write or talk about today, so here are my reactions to the election results.

First of all, I am overjoyed that Obama won.  I was completely giddy last night when the news was announced.  I'm not going to claim that he's going to shower the United States in rainbows and puppies, but I am really excited about him and I think ( Read more... )

This is amazing.  I can't believe it.

I am just so happy right now and so excited that I was able to experience this bit of history.  I was steeling myself for disappointment because I couldn't bear to let myself hope... and then he won.

Thank you Ohio, Florida, and everyone else, for not letting us down.
